National Mill Open Weekend                          14th & 15th May

Hardley Mill will be taking part in this nationwide mill event.

 

Time - 10 - 4

 

 

Drawing and Painting Art Workshops          4th & 5th Sept

 

A repeat of last years very successful art workshop with Gerry Nelson which provides a rewarding day in the vicinity of the Mill.  Bring you own materials for the medium of your choice. 

 

10:00 to 15:00 hrs daily including lunch break

 

£25.00 per day includes snacks and a light buffet lunch

Friends of Hardley Mill AGM                                    20th July

There will be a guest speaker.  After the business of the meeting, wine and cheese will be served.

 

Park at the Village hall.

Midsummer Frolic                                                     21st June

Take advantage of what we hole will be a beautiful evening walk along the river bank from Hardley Staithe to the Mill where the reward will be BBQ, wine and music.  Who knows?  You may see the River Fairies!

Sailing club race down the river to the Mill pontoons

Mosaics - Two day workshop                         9th & 10th July

Have a rewarding weekend learning to make a mosaic with Suzi Battell.  She will demonstrate and provide guidance abd advice as wellas some materials.  However, do bring broken crockery, etc. The cost is £20 per day, which includes snacks and a light lunch.

Children’s afternoon                               Monday 22nd August

Come to the Mill for an exciting day!  There will be Story Telling, face Painting, tattoos, Balloon Animals, Music and Food.  You might win a prize fir painting a picture of the Mill.

 

Children £5.00; Families £10.00

Yare Navigation Race                                             24th Sept

 

This annual rave for the graceful traditional yachts of the Broads starts at Coldham Hall.  The boats will pass the Mill going down river at around 11am and return later in the day.  Have a picnic and enjoy the splendid view.  The visitor centre will be open for tea, coffee, soft drinks, cake and biscuits.  Music too.
